Terms of Use
Bubble & Squeak and this website are provided by CHOFR LLC. By using them, you agree to these terms and, for the app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with Apple's standard agreement, Apple's agreement controls where required.
Kitchen and food guidance
Storage windows, reminders, recipe ideas, nutrition details, prices, and other food information are informational tools, not professional food-safety, medical, nutritional, or financial advice. Conditions vary. Use official guidance, inspect food yourself, and discard anything you believe may be unsafe.
AI-assisted and imported content
AI-generated drafts and imported recipe facts may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your needs. You are responsible for reviewing ingredients, allergens, cooking instructions, temperatures, sources, and any generated result before using or sharing it.
Your content and household sharing
You retain ownership of recipes, photos, notes, and other content you create. You give the app permission to process that content only as needed to provide the features you choose. You are responsible for content you add and for the people you invite to a shared household.
Third-party services
Apple services, recipe websites, data providers, community databases, and optional external AI providers have their own terms and policies. CHOFR is not responsible for third-party availability, content, or data practices.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, violate another person's rights, or use the service unlawfully. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. CHOFR LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from their use. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so those limits may not apply to you.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms by posting a revised effective date. These terms are governed by applicable United States law and the law of the state where CHOFR LLC is organized, without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live.
Copyright Policy
The Bubble & Squeak app, website, branding, interface, and original materials are owned by CHOFR LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Apple names and marks belong to Apple Inc. Third-party recipes, photos, product facts, trademarks, and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Recipe import is designed to capture functional facts such as ingredients, time, and servings while preserving a source link. It is not intended to republish protected expressive text, photography, or media without permission.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or create misleading derivatives of Bubble & Squeak materials except as allowed by law or with written permission.
Copyright and DMCA notices
If you believe material available through Bubble & Squeak infringes your copyright, email support@chofr.io with:
- Your name, contact information, and physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The specific material at issue and enough information for us to locate it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
We may forward a notice to the person who supplied the material and may remove or restrict material when appropriate. Misrepresentations in a notice can create liability under applicable law.
